Unit Stills that Promote Your Production
Let’s be honest, a unit stills and BTS photographer is pretty low on the call sheet. However, what I bring to the table is imperative to any successful production. Need film stills that capture the important moments of your film? I’m your guy. How about promotional portraits of the cast for a one-sheet? Hi, me again. What experience do you have on set?
My on set background ranges from student projects to indy features and everything in between. With this breadth of experience, I have acquired the skills and know-how to capture the moment while staying out of the way.
Why do we need film stills when we can use a screengrab?
Stills can provide higher resolutions at larger dimensions. From a promotional standpoint, a unit still will provide you with a cleaner image that can be used for everything from a social media post to a billboard. A screengrab simply can’t do that.
Our production only needs BTS photos - is that ok?
Sure! However, I’m going to be there all day, so we might as well capture both those AND unit stills. You’ll be glad we did when you need a photo for the festival poster.
